Due Kiss

kir
a matter of time
only
until I press my lips
against yours,

I imagine it as
we speak
and get a little closer
each week,

flirtatious,
natural,
stern and
bleak,

I sense the kiss is
coming like the
coming of
summer

as the spring
teases
us with sunny
days

before the sky
goes
back to its
sullen ways,

confusing and
pleasing
the new born
flowers

but eventually I
feel
that all will
blossom,

my nights will
die
intense and
red

and mornings will
appear
golden and
bright,

your kiss
it seems
so far yet
near,

inevitable,
immeasurable
to have you
here.
