Jardim Gulbenkian

gulbenkian
Under the shade
in Gulbenkian Park,
two little chicks
hobble past
following mother duck.
I rest on grass
beside the sound
of a stream
with a feeling
of the breeze
I share with the trees
around me and above
my head, like a silhouette
kaleidoscope of leaves
and twigs and branches
and all that blue beyond.
The world is passing by
but the universe
is only here.
